Freedom is Believing in Miracles

Freedom is … believing in miracles – divine wonders beyond the natural laws of the physical and the natural laws of the spiritual. According to Kabbalah, the world is created anew every moment through the energy of divine letters and so why not believe? Hashem (G-d) as the infinite can do anything 🙂 The wording of this Jewish month of Nissan is connected to the word miracles. The Passover story of the Jew’s exodus from Egypt, Mitzrayim, which also has a spiritual meaning of ‘limitations’ was empowered by G-d’s miraculous hand. The Rebbe relates a lesson to this for all of us today. Each time that we go out of our own state of limitations and tap into our soul’s infinite power to touch the divine and traverse difficulties, we are doing miracles. The Rebbe says that the generation of today are the reincarnated souls of the generation of the time of the exodus. Let’s do this thing! Through our infinite potential of doing random acts of kindness and charity and our ability to choose divine action over fear, we can switch darkness into light forevermore. As Jewish prophecy states about Geula “There will be neither famine nor war, neither envy nor strife, because goodness will flow in abundance and all delightful things will be as available as dust. The occupation of the entire world will be solely to know the Divine.” (Maimonides)
