Strength is …Rest Time

Strength is … rest time. Since my coach and mindbody healing training, I’ve really come to understand the importance of not pushing forward to just get things done. It seems that the body and soul do well with rest time—with pauses and small bits of undertakings rather than the push-through energy of trying to accomplish something. At least that’s what works best for me. Everyone is unique and what works for one might not necessarily work for another. But we live in a society that seems to value and encourage more of the aggressive action-oriented way of doing things than the meandering, yet disciplined, approach. Great to jump off the bandwagon when necessary to heed your own calling 🙂
