Potentials are … in this recipe of 3 : Gratitude, High Fives and Get to do’s. I try to start my days with prayer, a 1 minute meditation, affirmations and this dry erase board which I divide into 3 small sections. The first section is : ‘Never take anything for granted.’ This sentence drops me immediately into gratitude for everything in my life – eyes, ears, the gift of smell, the gift of taste etc. – big and small things. I jot down a few. The next section is: ‘Look at what I did!’ which is my high five to myself about what I did the day before or even what I did that morning – prayer, meditation, ate a healthy thing etc. And the 3rd section is: ‘What I’m blessed to do.’ Here I jot down a few things that I want to get done that day. It’s a blessing to be healthy and have things that need to get done even if they’re not the funnest. This is how I set up my potentials for the day.
