Being Brave is Telling G-d Enough is Enough

Miriam Racquel Being Brave Kislev - 2nd day

Being Brave is … telling G-d that enough is enough and that we want the Geula now – the Jewish prophetisized time of revelation of Divine light and essence. It’s actually a time that we’ll be spiritually higher than the angels! Just imagine a world with no suffering, no illness, no starvation, no unkindness, no terrorism, no competition, no closemindedness. A world where the divine essence shines so bright, strong and expansive that the physicality does not block our vision.

At this time, there may seem that there isn’t much that we can do against certain forces in the world – the random, evil crazed gunmen who rampage against innocents, the terrorists who believe that slaughtering is the way to G-d, the rapist who’s only way to power is to hurt and maim, the dictators who have zero compassion towards their people and suppress their human spirit, the hunter who kills those weaker than him as a way to bravado, and yet that is a lie. WE do have power. Just as the Chanukah story goes, light does have victory over darkness, the few and ‘weak’ DO conquer evil. With what? The power of the spirit. By using our power to enlarge ourselves by clinging to our integrity, values and soul, victory is guaranteed. Those random acts of kindness we do? That money we give to those needing help, a home, food or shelter? Those kind words and smiles we share? That’s our power. And each act is a spiritual awakening that electrifies the heavens and vibrates down here. We may not see it in the moment – in fact it’s been thousands of years of not seeing it. But the veils are moving aside, the light is pushing through and we are in the last inning of the game, bases loaded. Who knows which act and which one of us hits the home run, that brings all of us home – home to our true source – our soul that’s been waiting to be fully revealed? So do what you can, don’t despair and know that you have a divine purpose and mission that is unique to you. No one else can do it. Each one of us is empowered with the soul power to complete the mission, to finish the tikkun (fixing) of the world, to reveal the immense divine light and reveal the world as a place of health, serenity, goodness, kindness, abundance and full Peace. The Rebbe says that the time is now and that it is up to each one of us. May it be Now. Amen!
