Trust is Stepping Back From Worry with Love
Trust is … stepping back from worry with love. Sounds selfish, but worrying is not trusting that others have their own journey, their own soul and the same Hashem (G-d) that is looking out for me is looking out for them. Stepping back from worry while lending a hand, sharing a kind word or saying a prayer gives people the freedom and space to experience whatever it is that they need to. And I get to experience the freedom and space that I need to without trying to ‘take over’ their journey. I allow myself the emotions of sad, mad, fear etc. – whatever surfaces – and step into trust. For them and for me.
