Happy first day of the Jewish month of Tammuz. The theme for this month is Divine Miracles, for what are miracles, but a peek of the divine through the thick veils of life? And it is up to us to SEE those ‘peekings’ for it is the revelation of sight that heals our way, transforms our being and results in more light.
The past few days have been a great wonder for me. I merited to marry my son to a wonderful woman. There have been days of continued celebration and gatherings of friends and family. I have been introduced to incredible people and have heard wonderous stories in conversations. Many of these stories I hope to share in my daily posts because they are awe inspiring – from hearing about the mother of one woman who was one of the 250 survivors of the 250,000 unfortunates who survived the death march from Aushwitz and went onto become an incredible person who’s heart and home remained open to all to hearing of the miraculous rescue of Iranian children from the dangerous Khomeni regime to hearing of my daughter-in-law’s grandmother who was blind yet raised her children and managed her home like a queen, doing charity for others with a full and open heart. We are so resilient and the choice to bloom is ours. And that is a Divine Miracle.
