Joy is … pointing to joy and saying ‘this is joy.’ Either in the physical space around you or even in your mind, you can point to something of joy. This is the greatest gratitude practice because once you start, the points of joy expand a thousand fold. Like infinity, there is no end. This morning I pointed to my diffuser by my bed and said ‘this is joy’ and that led to pointing to my ‘Happy’ essential oil and feeling the joy that I have it to use. Then to my nest, then to my Louise Hay book, then to my son doing his brother a favor and taking him to the airport at 5:15 am etc. Awesome way to start the day and tune into the moment. It also is an easy practice to grab onto when the mishaps of life happen and one needs a reminder of everything that is going well.
