Revelation Is Holy Roots
Revelation is …to know that ‘all events, even those which appear to be tragic, have holy roots.’ Today is the tenth of Teves which is a Jewish fast day. It commemorates Nebuchadnezzar’s siege on Jerusalem which eventually led to the destruction of the city. This tragic event took place a long time ago, yet because it’s roots are holy, it is remembered and acted upon even today. The siege indicated an intense divine energy and was meant as an opportunity for people to awaken and repair the spiritual problem at the time which was unwarranted hatred – you know – jealousy, mean gossip, unkindness etc. It was a missed opportunity, people didn’t take up the call and there was further destruction. What’s it mean for us nowadays? By doing random acts of goodness and kindness for no reason at all, but to bring joy, love and peace to another is what will make the world into a vessel to receive all the revealed good G-d has for all.
